5-1 Wide dynamic range camera system using new adaptive electronic shutter speed control

Abstract

Wide dynamic range camera system using new adaptive electronics shutter speed control have been developed. After recognizing each picture contrast, dark image shutter speed, mixing ratio of two pictures and non-linear processing have been adaptively controlled by the picture conditions. As the result of these technologies, wide dynamic range images over 200 times contrast ratio have been usually obtained.
