5-7 Prototyping of partial image retrieval system using MPEG-7

Abstract

We have developed a prototype of partial image retrieval system. When the system receives a user's search requests, in traverses the MPEG-7 description database and identifies some portions of images, which match user's requests. The current system can treat color, shape, texture and text annotation information out of MPEG-7 descriptors.
