5-9 Fast Algorithm for Filtering and Disparity Detection by Using Diffusion

Abstract

This paper presents a fast algorithm for filtering of correlation coefficient and a new stereo matching method that can increase precision. We estimate the disparity by applying iterative diffusion to X-Y coordinate. Our experimental results show our method eliminated false matches and increased precision more effectively than the conventional methods.
