Abstract

We developed a CPU-based real-time video transmission equipment for remote video surveillance with 3G cellular phones. This paper proposes hardware configuration to realize very small size and optimal software implementation on the medium performance CPU that has a video encoding accelerator. In addition, performance evaluation is also explained.
