13-6 Making pictures for evaluating multi-primary monitors compliant with extended color space

Abstract

We have made pictures for evaluating multi-primary monitors. These pictures include color data out of a color gamut of a three-primary-color LCD using three-color LEDs. Using these pictures, we have compared color reproducibility of both a monitor output and a printing output, and had confirmed these monitors may be adapted for soft proofing.
