Abstract
We are researching technology for archiving performances of Japanese traditional arts such as "Noh" and "Kabuki". The paper describes a new texture mapping method for the 3D model's surface. Using this method, we have developed a system for real-time and continuous display of high-resolution arbitrary viewpoint images of performances. Finally, we performed an experiment on real-time and continuous display of high-resolution arbitrary viewpoint images of "Noh," which is a Japanese traditional dramatic art.
