Abstract
It is a goal that Holographic 3D image transmission using Digital SSTV system is achieved. JPEG2000 is used in Digital SSTV technique. In this paper, the quality of images recovered by a CGH through JPEG2000 is investigated. Applicability of JPEG2000 to the transmission of 3D holographic images is also studied. As this result, JPEG2000 is seen to be applicable to realize a transmission of 3D holographic images.
