Abstract
The authors study on a method of detecting audio delay that is required for alignment adjustment of the audio signals in extracting audio features for automatic audio quality monitoring. The proposed method is based on the peak position detection of moving-averaged audio signals. Computer simulations show that alignment adjustment is possible by sending only 12bytes/sec peak position information from both sender and receiver side.
