Abstract

MEI (Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.) developed digital CATV Set-top Box (STB) with HDD. We adopted home AV system LSI, which has two MPEG decoders. As STB equips two tuners, they can record two different programs at the same time in HDD and external recorder.
