1-1 Development of network camera using multi-lens optical system

Abstract

We have developed a network camera which is equipped with multi-lens optical system. Wide-angle observation is achieved by locating prisms on the optical axes of some of the lenses. The optical system of the camera is more compact than general wide-angle lenses and can get less distorted pictures. This camera can detect the pictures in which moving objects are captured, and can record only them. We have confirmed the robustness of the moving objects detection by experiments.
