13-1 Real time depth estimation by tilted focal planes imaging

Abstract

We have been investigating depth estimation method by DFF(Depth From Focus) using tilted focal planes imaging. This method uses fewer multiple focus images than ones for traditional method. Therefore it is suitable for real time depth estimation accomplished by high speed processing.
