14-5 Face Detection and Key Face Indexing Focused on TV Video Program

Abstract

This paper aims at stabilizing the accuracy of face detection from TV video. The proposed method detects candidate regions of face from the current frame and verifies the face candidates keeping the continuity between frames. Experimental results confirmed that the proposed method achieved highly accurate and stable detection for key face indexing.
