Abstract
A parallel branch wire element which is attached parallel to the antenna element works as a loadings element of the antenna as well as short-circuited coaxial stub. In addition, the parallel branch wire element works to thicken the element diameter of the antenna. In this paper, the monopole antenna with the parallel branch wire was analyzed. The effect on the monopole antenna with the parallel branch wire was examined for broadband performance of the impedance characteristic. As a result, it is found that the monopole antenna with the parallel branch wire have broadband.
