5-3 Color Reproduction from Multispectral Video using Spatio-Spectral 3D Filter

Abstract

When multispectral images gain only low S/N ratio, colorimetric accuracy as well as image quality decrease in the reproduced images. To improve the image fidelity, this paper proposes a spatial-spectral 3D filter which consists of spatial restoration and spectral color estimation. The effectiveness of the 3D filter is confirmed through simulations and experiments.
