1-8 Extracting the Contour of a Particular Segment Based on MRF Models

Abstract

In this paper, we propose an image segmentation method using texture features and Markov random field models in order to extract the contour of a particular segment. Our method consists of coarse region segmentation based on merge and split method and fine modification in the shape of the boundary of a particular segment.
