Abstract
We propose a polarization analyzing CMOS sensor for microchemistry. In this work, to realize real-time measurement of the optical purity in a microfluidic system, we develop polarization analyzing CMOS sensor with an embedded metal grid polarizer on photodiode array. We examined a highly accurate measurement of optical rotation measurement with the sensor. A new polarization image sensor for high speed measurements was also demonstrated.
