11-3 Near Infrared Cameras to Capture The Full Color Images : A Study of color reproduction methods without an infrared cut filter for digital color cameras

Abstract

This paper proposed color reproduction methods without an infrared cut filter (IRCF) for digital color cameras. To achieve good color reproduction without an IRCF, we extended the color correction matrix to high degree in order to fit the spectrum sensitivity of the image sensor to the color matching functions. Our experimental results demonstrate better color reproduction using the proposed methods.
