16-4 Propagation characteristics of terrestrial television broadcasting wave on long sea path between solitary islands

Abstract

This paper describes the result of field strength measurement of NTSC signal transmitted from Minamitane Station at Nakanoshima Station and that from Sonai Station at Yonaguni Station. The field strength for 99.9% of the time is 16.8dB and 13.4dB lower than that for 50% of the time respectively.
