19-1 A Double Folded Monopole Antenna using Parasitic Element for Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting System

Abstract

In order to provide a wide band antenna for digital terrestrial broadcasting system, We proposed a double folded monopole antenna using parasitic element. Properties of this antenna are analyzed by means of the moment method. It is possible to adjust an operating frequency of this antenna by changing a size of parasitic element easily. Moreover, it has very small size antenna and a gain of about 5dBi.
