Abstract
In motion picture coding, inter-picture prediction and cyclic intra-picture coding are used. I-picture spend large amount of bits, and efficiency I-picture is required with keeping its independency. We have proposed a related pre and post-processing which can improve intra-picture coding. Motion compensated inter-frame processing are used in this method. In this report, we apply this method for I-picture. As the results of the experiments using MPEG-4, we recognize the improvement of PSNR significantly.
