2-7 Building-up the System for Hearing Assistive Sub-audio Service for the Elderly Viewers

Abstract

Authors are seeking universal services to be applied to broadcasting. As the one of them, we focused on assisting elderly viewers in audio, and built an audio processing system. The processes are based on compensating their hearing characteristics. Viewers can listen to the programs with processed audio without special devices.
