4-4 A study on detecting roads with trees from streetscape images on the web

Abstract

This paper studies a method of detecting roads with trees by analysing public streetscape images on the web in order to reduce the cost of constructing radiowave propagation models. While the method is simply based on color features, the detection accuracy is as high as 90 %.
