5-3 High speed motion vector detection by on-sensor pixel matching

Abstract

We have been investigating an image sensor in which the 2D motion vector of each pixel is detected at very high frame rates. In this paper, we have proposed a new method of on-sensor motion detection and simulated it. Additionally, we fabricated the prototype chip and evaluated it.
