6-5 A study of speckle noise evaluation for a laser projection

Abstract

We have developed the laser TV with moving screen system to decrease speckle noise. A reasonable measure of speckle noise is the ratio of the standard deviation to the mean defined as speckle contrast. In this paper, we quantitatively discuss about the relationship among probability density function, speckle contrast and upper probability.
