1-5 Feature Analysis of Front Faces of Cars by Principal Component Analysis and Their Representation as Caricatures

Abstract

Analysis of front faces of cars by computer covers various applications such as caricatures of cars on web pages, retrieval of a specific car image from database, car design, and so on. This paper presents a method to analyze features of front faces of cars quantitatively by principal component analysis for shapes of main parts and their arrangement.
