8-6 Accuracy improvement of nuclei extraction in pathological diagnosis support system

Abstract

Pathological diagnosis support system extracts positions and contours of hepatocellular nuclei semi-automatically, and gives pathologists useful information such as nuclear density and roundness factors of nuclei. Accuracy for nuclear position and contours extraction has been improved to reduce the time for the pathologists to collect wrong results.
