Abstract
The AMWA-EBU FIMS (Framework for Interoperable Media Services) Task Force was established in December 2009. FIMS is a standardization activity of media industry common interfaces using a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach. This paper introduces the standardization activity, the overview of FIMS 1.0 specification published in April 2012.
