Abstract
This paper describes the transform coding with orthogonal transforms which is derived from DCT. These transforms are switched due to the relative positions between a prediction unit and a transform unit. The performance is evaluated with HEVC Test Model (HM) ver. 6.0. The results showed 1.3 % bit saving on average than the original coding scheme.
