8-5 Facial Expression Recognition and Intensity Estimation close to Subjective Assessment Measure

Abstract

Expression intensity of each face image is obtained as value which humans sense. A method is proposed for estimation of a facial expression intensity close to a human sense thorough regression analyses between facial expression intensities and facial image vectors. Moreover, we also propose a method for facial expression recognition.
