1-10 Detecting and Tracking Night-Time Leading Vehicles Based on Traffic Lane Positions

Abstract

In this paper, we propose the novel method of detection and tracking leading vehicles. The framework of our method is 1) detecting traffic lanes, 2) searching vehicles only in the traffic lanes, and 3) tracking the captured vehicles in subsequent frames. Experimental results quantitatively and qualitatively show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
