1-6 Twotone-Colored Line Op-Arts from Region-Segmented Images

Abstract

We present an artistic stylization technique for generating op-art images by discriminating segmented regions by directions of two-tone lines. Both of the number of colors and directions of lines are two, hence their combination is four which is sufficient for painting arbitrarily segmented images. Two lines are weaved at their cross points. The unsharp masking is applied for increasing the contrast of op-art images.
