23-1 Integral three-dimensional imaging system with enhanced viewing zone by use of camera array

Abstract

We developed an integral-imaging-based capture system with enhanced viewing zone using a camera array. The system allows us to enlarge a viewing angle of a three-dimensional image according to the number of cameras. We conducted experiments to capture, transform and display three-dimensional images, and confirmed the validity of the system.
