Abstract
We have developed Laser Backlighting Liquid Crystal Display Television using the laser diode for one of the light sources. The 4K laser backlight liquid crystal television has been achieved the 80%, or higher, coverage with respect to the gamut defined in ITU-R Recommendation BT.2020 for the 4K pictures in studio production.
