Estimating Reflectance Spectra from Tristimulus Values under Different

Abstract

We propose a method for estimating reflectance spectra from tristimulus values observed under a number of illuminations. We formulate the estimation problem as a constrained Eucliean norm minimization, and show the analytic solution. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves the accuracy of the estimated reflectance spectra compared with the previous method.
