Abstract

For transmission of digital broadcasting signals over FTTH networks, a high - speed baseband transmission method with time - division multiplexing (TDM) is discussed. We developed m ulti - c hannel d igital broadcasting t ransmission e quipment using 10 G - EPON technology and conducted the indoor transmission experiments for multiple MPEG - 2 TSs and MMT streams . Our prototype receiver successfull y restores original MPEG - 2 TSs /MMT stream distributed via a TDM system as a cable TV distribution system with frequency - division multiplexing (FDM) technology.
