A Study of Fast Image Registration for High Dynamic Range Image Fusion

Abstract

We propose a fast registration method for HDR image fusion when multi-exposure images are locally misaligned. Proposed method is based on a pixel-wise block matching method which abbreviate its searching process according to the misalignment saliency map on a fused image. Proposed method can reproduce a comfortable HDR image suppressing artifacts.
