Face detection using cascaded convolutional network

Abstract

Face detection is one of the most important techniques for video content analysis. This paper proposes a detection method using cascaded convolutional network. The method can reduce calculation time while maintaining detection accuracy by sequential detection procedures. In experiments, we used broadcast program to train networks and verified its effectiveness.
