A Generation Method of Avatar’s Facial Expressions with “Manpu (Comic Symbols)” by Using Biometric Information

Abstract

It is often difficult to present natural avatar's facial expression. We propose a new generation method for avatar's natural facial expression with manpu based on emotion recognition by using both user’s biometric information and image analysis of his facial photos. The proposed method is effective to present avatar's natural facial expression that the user wants.
