Abstract
We have developed a FOP directly coupled with CsI : Tl which can be coupled to CCDs to obtain high resolution X-ray images. The CsI : Tl layer has a columnar structure made by evaporation. We svaluated the light output, X-ray absorption coefficient and resolution concerning with CsI : Tl thickness.
