Abstract
We have developed a Multi-Scan Converter LSI, which is capable of converting several computer signals and a Hi-Vision video signal to an NTSC signal. This LSI has the filter which reduces a number of pixel to realize square pixel images and variable-sized window display. The LSI also contains three D/A converters, line memories and an NTSC digital encoder, so that it provides a scan converter system with a limited number of external components.
