Report on SID'97 International Symposium : Backlighting Systems, Display Lightings, Optics, and Color Filters

Abstract

This report gives a brief summary of following five sessions of SID 1997 international symposium. Main area of this report is optics of liquid crystal displays such as backlighting systems, display lighting, display optics, plastic substrates & laminates, and color filters. Seventeen papers have been presented in above five sessions in total, and this report contains twelve summary of papers.
