OFDM Transmitting Station Assembled with Existent Equipments

Abstract

Sensitiveness to non-linearity is one of the drawbacks of OFDM systems. Two transmitting systems, which were designed for the current analog television broadcasting, were used to examine if they are applicable to 64QAM-OFDM signal. In the frequency conversion part, instability of the local frequency was seemed to cause the BER increases. Concerning the amplifier part, one amplifier could output up to 50W OFDM signal which was insignificantly distorted.
