Abstract
It was difficult to realize large electro-holographic 3D displays because electro-holographic displays require very high bandwidths increased by display sizes, viewing angles, and refresh rates. To solve the bandwidth problems, we had proposed an arrayed electro-holographic display. We designed the arrayed electro-holographic display architecture using Acousto-Optic Modulators (AOMs). We made up the final evaluation model that consisted of three display units. Each display unit had display widths of 22 mm, scanning lines of 75,and refresh rates of 60 Hz. Though the display size of a unit is small, larger display sizes can be obtained by arranging some units in parallel.
