Abstract

A digital SNC codec for 525 progressive was developed. With MPEG-2,this instrument can compress and transmit the 525P signal into around 20Mbps and the 525I signal into 7.5〜20Mbps(4 modes) respondent to the use. We had used the parallel process chipset for the 525P signal coding, and have realized the 525P-CODEC.
