Abstract
The FDTD is useful method for solving various elctromagnetic problems. This method is based on the discretization of the Maxwell's equation with respect to small rectangular grid cells. In this paper, the size of analytical area is considered. The field distributions, impedance and radiation patterns of a short dipole antenna are calculated for FDTD region space and PML layer size. The effect of the cell size space on the calculated caracteristics of the antenna are investigated.
