Abstract
We have studied the simplified DGPS using two GPS receivers, and obtained from 1 to 10m accuracy of point positioning. In case of using the simplified DGPS in many surrounding obstacles, e.g. in city area, it occurs that sufficient positioning accuracy couldn't be obtained because of multipath and restriction of satellites location. In this paper, we investigate and discuss the influence of satellites location in GPS positioning by experiment and simulation. In conclusion, it is cleared that GPS positioning error are closely related with satellites location.
