Abstract
The papers presented in the Asia Display'98,especially concerning reflective type LCDs, are reviewed. R-OCB, PDLC, HR-TFT and Cholesteric LC, related to the reflective type LCDs, were reported. Furthermore, photo-alignment techniques and LCD materials, such as black matrix and liquid crystals, were presented.
