Abstract
Wigs were often used in a period drama production. Recently, they have been also used in a HDTV period drama production. But, it is causing some problems with increasing resolution. One of some problems is that a boundary of the wig is unnatural. Therefore, we have newly developed an image processing method for erasing the boundary of the wig automatically. We are describing the method and results in this paper.
