Abstract
This paper describes the analysis of the distortion power which is generated by the PA with third-order nonlinear characteristics when the OFDM signal passes through it. As a result. the distortion power in band is distributed 80% from the total distortion power under the condition with a large number of carriers. And then, C/N is calculated in regarding the distortion in band as noise, and expressed C/N as functions of backoff and IM.
