Abstract
People Collaborating in the same Place can communicate each other, anytime as they like, apart from the actual collaboration required. Thus the better collaboration is achieved compared to the case for the collaboration between distant place. In this paper, we propose a method to extract user's work situation and let tha extracted information be used for supporting better collaboration over the distance. Here the visual information surrounding the user is captured by a video camera and isw combined to the information related to the user's most recent manipuration of a computer.
